Pattern Posies(9 Photos) Made this picture for my sewing room using all my scrapbooking stuff. The skirts are made from pattern papers dusted with powdered pigments for color and shine. The girls are copied from some of my mom's retro patterns. I just love them.
Christening Gown(5 Photos) This is the Christening gown I made for my great granddaughter, Haven. The slip has a tree machine embroidered with her parents, grandparents and greatgrandparents names, birthdates and dates of passing, in some cases. The dress took 8 1/2 yds of fabric and about 100 yards of different kinds of lace and about 20 yds of entredeaux and HOURS or sewing. This was my first attempt at heirloom sewing.
Banquet Dress(5 Photos) Here is the dress. It was almost a wadder. We got it all done, tried it on a lot, and the neck was way too low! So at the last minute, I was ripping out the sleeves and shoulder seams so they could be raised. It turned out pretty good.
