Topkids dress
Stretch pique - not too old stash, but old enough that I can't recall from when, exactly, nor where did I get this... I had just enough to get this dress done with a scrunchie thrown in (not shown).

Ottobre Dress.jpg

cotton and gauze
This is from one of Ottobre's early issues, that had no English and was only in Finnish with a pamphlet in German if desired...I did not bother with translation, just used the pieces. The gauze is somewhat scratchy so I used it as the overlay. I overlapped the "leaves" and sewed on to the skirt then did the attaching to the top.

I actually started with plans for a dress for ME. I did get to finish it, AFTER sewing dresses for both dd's.
Well aged stash purchased when DS was about 3 years old...he's almost 12 now..
